Thank you to everyone who contributed to the 20p jar that was sat in our lounge throughout 2016, you all collected £420.38 which is a fantastic amount.

Every penny raised helps us to continue offering our hospice services free of charge to those living with life-limiting illnesses in the local area.

We do offer ‘at home boxes’ where you can collect any spare change and donate to Dove Cottage, you can pick these up in any of our shops or from the hospice, if you are unable to get to any of these outlets we will be happy to send one out in the post.

Please phone 01949 860303 to request your box.

With every good wish for Christmas and the New Year

It is now the end of the year for us all here. We have had such a lovely party week, Christmas dinners, pass the parcel and a visit from a very special guest (Santa).

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed 2016, it has been an eventful year, we celebrated our 20th Birthday. We also have a second Day Hospice over in Ridlington, Rutland which will start with guests attending on January 3rd – very exciting.

Thank you to you all for such amazing support, we really couldn’t do it without you.

With every good wish for Christmas and the New Year!

Guess the Penguins Name

This year at our Santa Fun Run & Walk which took place at Belvoir Castle on Sunday 4th December we held a ‘Guess the Penguins Name’ which was great fun. We had a very big cuddly penguin to give away. Our lucky winner was Neev who is now united with her fellow Penguin – Christopher.
