We have lots of schools and youth fundraising ideas so you can help Dove Cottage Day Hospice. We can support you with fundraising materials if required.
Primary Schools & Brownies/Cubs
As a primary school/junior youth group there are lots of ways to raise money for Dove Cottage Day Hospice.
You could hold a dress down/up day with a theme, bake cakes to sell at break time or after school or hold a jumble sale. You could have a coin trail where everyone brings in there coins to make a trail around the school or the playground.
We are able to supply you with fundraising materials to help to promote the day and make it fun.
We are also happy to come along to your school/group to hold a short presentation about the Hospice and answer any questions your pupils might have. Also we would welcome the opportunity to host small groups of children at the hospice for singing/dancing displays for our guests.
Secondary Schools & Guides/Scouts
Dress down days are a brilliant way to raise funds for us, where each pupil donates £1 to come to school in everyday clothes instead of their uniform.
Recycling is also a way in which you could help us. We can earn cash for old mobile phones, stamps and used original ink jet cartridges. We can supply collecting boxes for any of the above.
Again we are happy to come along to your school/group to hold a short presentation about the hospice and would also be happy to work alongside pupils studying business to help us to come up with fundraising ideas and marketing strategies.
