We’re a charity based in the Vale of Belvoir providing essential care and support for local people and their families who have advanced, life-limiting illness. We provide a variety of care services including day care, complementary therapies, bereavement and dementia support.
As we rely heavily on fundraising, we knew we required a website which would make donating easy for our web visitors. In addition, we wanted to promote our shops and tea rooms.
We chose Ketchup Marketing to design and build our new, fully responsive website. We were very keen to ensure that our new site would include a simple ecommerce web solution to allow online purchases to be made so that we could sell seasonal cards at certain times of the year. We also wanted to include an events calendar with an online booking system, so that we could promote forthcoming dates and generate interest in these. Other requirements included a link through to our ebay shops, a donate now button, with links to paypal to ensure secure donations could be made and a section where we could regularly showcase charity news.
Using the charity’s existing branding, the web development team at Ketchup delivered a vibrant site that is clearly set out, meaning that our online visitors find it easy to navigate and access information about our services, volunteering opportunities and much more besides.
