Donations

Donation Station

Host our indoor donation station in reception or meeting/communal area. We’ll deliver and collect, you just need to let us know. An average bag of clothing is estimated to be worth around £25 plus potential gift aid.

Donate Prizes

We are always in need of raffle/auction prizes which helps to raise additional funds and are always appreciated.

Payroll Giving

Regular donations come from employees’ salary before tax.

Counter Collection Pots

These help to raise vital funds and also promote brand awareness within the local community.

Volunteering Opportunities

Team Building/Organisational Volunteering

Volunteering is a real chance for you to make a positive difference to people’s lives and to contribute to the care and support of guests and their families when they need it most.
This can be a great team away day at the hospice or at any one of our events. There are also volunteering opportunities in the hospice, driving guests in and home again, at our shops or tearoom.

A gift of your time will help us to continue providing our much needed care to those living in the local area

Sponsorship

Sponsorship Opportunities

Each year Dove Cottage hold a variety of events offering potential sponsors the opportunity for excellent brand awareness and also the opportunity to engage with new clients. Our events could include our Annual Fete, Easter Egg Hunt, Auction, Lantern Walk, Carol Service and Santa Fun Run. For the more adventurous we have engaged with ‘Challenge’ Companies. The higher the number of sponsors for our events means that more money will come directly to the hospice to help those families in need.
