The tea room’s unique location is the perfect spot for a walk along the along the canal followed by a cup of tea and a slice of cake, a pitstop on a scenic cycle ride and a quick browse in the upstairs charity shop.
We have a fantastic playground for our younger visitors with a zipwire, swings, climbing frame and a toddler-sized play area, too. We also have ice cream!
The tea room itself is on a single level so is wheelchair and pushchair friendly. We welcome walkers, tired cyclists and hungry families.
There are always water bowls in the outside area for our four-legged doggy friends after a long walk (we just ask that you keep them on leads and in the garden area only), and in the colder weather you can snuggle up with them with a blanket and a hot chocolate in our outdoor shelter.
Our menu has a nice range of hot and cold drinks, including barista coffee and a selection of speciality teas. Scones are freshly baked on the premises most days, and we’ll always have delicious cake to tempt you… If you’re in a rush, why not grab a coffee to take away?
The tea room is just down the road from our day hospice, and the money you spend with us will go towards the vital services we provide for our hospice guests, who are all living with life-limiting illnesses.
