ROLE: Saturday Sales Assistant (Cotgrave shop)
WORKING HOURS: 8 hours (Saturdays only)
ROLE OVERVIEW: To assist the shop manager in all aspects of the operational running of our Cotgrave hospice shop and promote the work of Dove Cottage Day Hospice.
RATE OF PAY: £12.21 per hour
RESPONSIBLE TO: Shop Manager & Assistant Shop Manager

Volunteer roles
In order to run Dove Cottage we rely heavily on a base of willing volunteers, who selflessly donate their time to help support in all aspects of the charity.
In addition to the Trustee role advertised above, the volunteer roles that we are currently advertising are below. If you would like to offer your time to help with a role that is not being actively promoted, please do get in touch!

ROLE: Shop Assistant (Volunteer role)
WORKING HOURS: Various days (Monday – Saturday) Please enquire to find out specific availability
ROLE OVERVIEW: To support the shop managers at our Bottesford shop, mainly working on the till.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Shop Manager & Assistant Shop Manager

ROLE: Fundraising & Events support (Volunteer role)
WORKING HOURS: Various (usually weekends)
ROLE OVERVIEW: To assist the fundraising team at various community events throughout the year. Supporting with set-up/breakdown of stands where required and promoting the hospice services to the wider community.
